In the short term, increasing the child population under 15 years old puts pressure on services and the quality of education. Governments have to invest more heavily in schools, hospital services, and childcare facilities to adapt to the large numbers of students, which are piling up. Consequently, the quality of educational resources can decline if the government fails to expand them quickly enough. For example, classes have to face overcrowded students and lack of teachers in some urban areas. However, on the positive side, financial activities are boosted thanks to the larger numbers of students because their parents need to participate in trade, buy products such as food, clothes, and other daily goods, so that companies in the country can substantially grow.
