The trend of buying products over the internet is on the rise, replacing physical stores for many consumers. I believe there are both upsides and downsides to this development.
In the past, shopping meant waiting in lines with limited store hours. Now, people can shop online at home 24/7 more conveniently without having to go to stores or department store. As a result, customer can save time and the costs of traveling. Cybershopping allows people to have a wider range of choices as they can compare different brands and products. Additionally, on flash sale days like February 2, March 3, etc., e-commerce platforms like Shopee, Lazada, etc. will have many discount codes and free shipping codes, helping buyer save more money. These benefits are attracting more and more human to online purchases.
On the other hand, there are downsides. You cannot try on clothes before buying. Furthermore, you might receive items that are damaged or not as shown in the advertising photos. While returns are possible, the process can be inconvenient and time-consuming. In addition, you can’t receive the goods immediately, like when buying from the store, but you have to wait a few days for shipping.
Overall, e-commerce is a revolutionary and convenient way to shop, but it has its limitations. Hopefully, technological advancements will address these issues in the future.
