Nowadays, many people decide to become self-employed instead of working for a company. This essay will discuss about the demerits and cons of choosing self-employed.

One important advantage of being self-employed is flexibility. Self-employed people can choose their working hours and plan their day in a way that suits them. Another advantage is independence. They can make their own decisions, choose their clients, and work on projects they really enjoy.

However, there are also some disadvantages. One major disadvantage is unstable income. Unlike employees, self-employed people do not receive a fixed monthly salary, so their earnings can change from month to month. Another disadvantage is high responsibility. Self-employed people must manage their time, find clients, and take care of their work quality and finances by themselves.

In conclusion, being self-employed is a good option for people who value freedom and independence. At the same time, it requires responsibility and the ability to deal with financial uncertainty.
