Physical shopping in bring less popular especially among young adults due to the enhancement in technology. While online shopping is riveting and convenient, I believe it should be seen as a negative development since it will lead people to a sedentary lifestyle and old citizens might find it frustrating.
On one hand, online shopping is interesting and time saving because of the cutting-edge technology. That is to say, in this sophisticated era individuals can order any kinds of products from their accommodation through smart-phone. There are a significant number of online applications which are available on Google. If anybody wants to order something can order at the click of a button. For example, In Bangladesh daraz app has become so increasingly renowned that everybody purchases their day to day life goods from this app.
On the other hand, it might lead to a sedentary lifestyle. In other words, since consumers can order their favorite products online they will prone to making habits of buying from their home. As a consequence, these customers are less likely to go to any physical stores. Moreover, old citizens find shopping online difficult as they are not used to using such genre of applications. For instance, most of countryside’s people do not prefer ordering products online as they are not familiar with internet and latest technology. As a result, if physical stores are replaced by online completely it might affect a certain number of people.
In conclusion, even though online shopping could facilitate our consumption approach by distributing some facilities, I would argue that it can affect some people’ shopping experience.
