It is true that, by prioritizing work, people nowadays tend to live far away from their families and friends. This essay will argue that the disadvantages of this development are eclipsed by the benefits involved
It is undeniable that being apart from friends and families can be disadvantageous to a certain extent. Moving away from family and friends could be challenging since it prevents people from having a real interaction to share their emotions and tiredness. To illustrate, many Vietnamese workers have gone to another country to work, but they may always miss their relatives. Another drawback is that people have to widen their sense of communication, which requires them whenever they meet new people and new culture. In addition, they always have to get new relationships in their new workplace, new country or new city. Although moving far away can bring downsides at the first time; however, it is a suitable way for each individual to be more mature for a long while.
In my opinion, the trend of being distant from family can be more beneficial for several reasons. Perhaps one of these is that this could be a significant aspect that changes individuals’ lives. Additionally, living in another city or country gives people many job opportunities with a high salary or even a chance to improve their relationships. Specifically, Asian people go to the US to seek job opportunities and make a great amount of money. The second advantage is that they are not limited by family. That is true since many people reckon their families as a harmful factor which prevents people from maximizing their work performance due to family conflicts.
In conclusion, going to another city or country to work may be difficult at first. However, this phenomenon can produce some positive impacts which are of greater significance.
