In modern society, it is commonly true that many people decide to have children at a later age than in the past. There are some reasons for this trend, and I believe that the disadvantages surpass the advantages.
To begin with, there are several reasons why people choose to delay having children. Firstly, many young adults focus on higher education and building their careers. They often spend many years studying or working hard, so they do not feel ready to raise a child early. Secondly, financial pressure is another important reason. Because the cost of living is increasing, many couples wait until they have a stable income and enough savings before starting a family.
However, I believe that the disadvantages of having children later in life are more significant. The first reason is that older parents may have less energy to take care of young children. Raising a child requires a lot of physical effort, and this can be difficult for parents at an older age. Additionally, having children late can increase health risks for both parents and babies. For example, older mothers may face more medical problems during pregnancy.
In conclusion, although people delay having children because of education and financial reasons, I believe that the lack of energy and possible health problems make the disadvantages greater than the advantages.
