Nowadays, numerous individuals are supposed to learn and level up their English, but choosing the most suitable way could be challenging. Is it more effective to study abroad or to study in your own country for learning purpose?
One of the advantages of studying in Britain could be more beneficial. First, you would be familiar with the listening skill of language as soon as being a part of this community. Another benefit is that you will need to use this language widely to communicate with people. In contrast, students could practise speaking English only in class which leads to slow learning.
On the flip side, there are also some benefits to doing continuous learning by staying in your own country. Due to it, you don’t have to face several challenges living in foreign countries. Compared to living in Britain, it would be more costly for adaptation but numerous opportunities and effective results would be offered. For example, if you have an excellent tutor in Italy, you may be able to focus more effectively on learning than living in Britain without attending a formal school.
To sum up, personally I think if you have a supportive background for studying abroad, the most suitable choice is to adapt your future time in the UK. However, this kind of great chance could not be offered for several people, so staying in your own country is the most available way. Lastly, the best thing to do in this situation is to give yourself special chances: speak only English in class and try to use English whenever you can outside of class.
