We are living in the era of modern technologies, that provide us with the possibility to simplify the process of making new connections and our ongoing communication. However, some individual have noticed people becoming more isolated and less respectful to others. This essay will discuss the main problems associated with deviant behaviour and propose some possible solutions to deal with this issue.
One of the main problems caused by antisocial behaviour is the high risk of criminality growth. For example, nowadays the Russian government is seriously concerned about the possible growth of street hooligans’ popularity after the series “The Boy’s Word” was released. The younger Russian generation was charmed by the image of guys who were demonstrating their authority by using “violent methods”. Children are not educated to lead a constructive dialogue between each other, making attempts to resolve emerging problems with words. So the kind of phenomenon may make its negative input in the becoming people less respectful to others.
What’s more, modern people are provided with the access to Internet, that gets people more independent from each other. In the USSR times people used to ask each other for some kind of assistance in order to deal with daily problems. For example, teenagers were gathering together at their classmate’s to get prepared for the exam and to share their knowledge with each other. These days, on the contrary, it’s easier to surf the net to collect all necessary learning materials.
In my opinion, the best solution to these problems is promoting activities that completely involve people into the communication with each other. Teachers should pay more attention to outsiders, who remain separate from other children, and create more activities to get children connected, like group projects. At the same time parents have to spend more time with their children to get them socialised and discover more about their feelings.
In conclusion, spending too much time on modern devices, people are depriving themselves from being socialised and having healthy relations with other individuals. The most effective solution is to get children used to spend their time communicating with each other in order to rise their self-confidence and social skills.
