According to a research article published in 2023 showed that 40% startups are related to food industry with major chunk occupied by fast-food and coffee shops. This is because more and more people are preferring outside food, and like to chill with their family and friends at coffee shops and fast-food vendors. The shops and restaurant also give attractive deals and discounts to attract more and more customers.
There are both positive and negative effects on the society. The positive effect may include the economic boost which is majorly contributed by food sector. People who are less confident may get motivated for starting than own shops and restaurants. Since, there are so many ventures people. might get opportunities to socialise and make new friends. The Negative side may cover the severe health issues like food poisoning, obesity, because of bad eating habits. Which will directly affect the lifespan of the population.
