It is widely argued that the youth spends too much of their free time in shopping centers, and this can cause the negative effects on youngsters and the society where they live. In my opinion, although in certain aspects, young individuals spend much time in the shopping malls have a few positive effects, the negative impact outweighs.

On the one hand, the young people spending of their free time in shopping centers can give their benefit including acquire the reality knowledge. The actions such as strolling around the shopping malls can help them observe how products are displayed and how those stores promote their products to consumers. Besides, youth also research to the market and discover business strategies in stores. However, only a few young individual are interested in research and knowing how to leverage that to apply it in their lives.

On the other hand, it is understandable why some hold the view that young people taking too much time to shopping in the malls because it have too much potential impact drawback. The first reason why some people fear this because it waste too much money of young people and their family. There are many bad results such as debt, criminal, stress, anxious and mental illnesses. In addition, taking too much time in shopping malls also cause the risk of environmental impact. The youth can buy many items and they will easily follow fast fashion trends, so this will create a large amount of items ranging from fashion to furniture, household tools, etc., which will be released into the environment, causing pollution.

In conclusion, I would content that many people fear the negative effects of the youngsters spend too much time in the shopping malls is true with many bad results; however, in a difference aspect, it also have an advantage for young people and society where they live in.
