While the society is developing ceaselessly, people’s demands are also raised to such a degree. This has led many individuals to believe that a high salary is what makes a job attractive. From my perspective, I think that there are other criteria which are desirable for people when choosing a job.
First and foremost, the working environment seems to be a remarkable aspect before applying for a job. To illustrate, this sphere includes an array of factors such as the countenance from co-workers or manager, pressure level and the workplace culture, which affect one’s working process. Providing that employees are guaranteed with these appropriate conditions of working, they will become more enthusiastic about the job. Therefore, a company’s efficiency and quality can be reinvigorated and foster a supportive working environment.
In addition, the opportunity for promotion of the job is also a desirable point. This means that attendants are inclined to the knowledge and experience they can acquire through working in order to develop their ability. Plus, people tend to select the job that suits their professional foundation to increase their chance of getting higher status in the job and become a “tycoon”. Hence, the breakthrough in both sides will attract young people to enroll in the job.
However, it is not to negate salaries’ allurement to people. Indeed, they need a stable financial background to purchase their demands as well as keep pace with average improvement of the society. But choosing a job relates to the massive effect of one’s life, so it is advisable to take many criteria into consideration if you want to achieve a desirable job.
In conclusion, a good salary is still a very important aspect for people to choose a job along with minding other conditions. By doing so, individuals can make a wise choice and gain job satisfaction.
