There is an opinion that healthcare services should be paid for.Some individuals believe that patients should be required to pay for their own health.This essay completely disagrees with this view because of benefits that free healthcare providers.The essay will first look at how free health care services can help people with low incomes and then discuss how it contribute to disease prevention.
First of all,all people have right for free medical treatment .Some individuals can not afford paid health care,because everybody has different issues with finances and it makes inequality between people with different levels of income. For example,I have a finance limit and I can not receive a high-cost treatment,so that is why i have to go to public hospital,because healthcare is a basic necessity, not a service that a person should have to choose based on their income.
Secondly,patients should not have to save up money to see a doctor,therefore they can prevent serious illness by not delaying treatment.If people go to the doctor as soon as an illness appears,meaning they visit much more frequently,they will be much healthier.For instance, elderly people often live on a limited pension and have to spend most of their money on food, housing and medicine. If they have to pay for every visit to a doctor, they may postpone it because they cannot afford it. Free healthcare would allow them to seek medical help without worrying about the cost.
