Distance learning has been adopted by many people since the introduction of the internet. However, there is a debate on whether digital learning will completely replace in-person teaching in the future. Some believe that classroom teaching will not be replaced by online learning. In my opinion, digital study has become an essential part of everyone’s life, but it does not completely replace in-person teaching.
Individuals prefer Zoom teaching for various reasons. One of the main reasons is that it is easy and convenient to use. Some working individuals who do not have the time to pursue higher education due to their busy schedules choose to learn through this method whenever they have the opportunity, such as while traveling on buses and trains. Additionally, it is popular in areas where there are no high schools or coaching centers. For example, someone who aspires to become an IAS officer but lacks good teachers in their hometown may use YouTube to gain knowledge. Due to these reasons, people believe that e-learning could transform the future of education.
On the other hand, traditional learning imparts many lessons that digital learning does not, such as teaching children how to behave in a group and the importance of punctuality. When individuals interact with others, they learn social manners. For instance, when a teacher praises a student for their good work in front of the entire class during childhood, it helps build confidence. Furthermore, teachers pay attention to each individual in the group, observe their behavior, and help them identify their strengths and weaknesses to work on them.
In conclusion, digital education saves time, while traditional teaching methods teach manners and punctuality. In my view, traditional learning cannot be completely replaced because schools provide children with invaluable experiences that cannot be acquired through distance learning.
