Nowadays, there are a lot of argues about impact of media on people, especially on a young generation. Some people believe that violence in the media promotes violence in society, while others believe that this is a false opinion. This essay will explain, why I am agree with the initial statement.
Firstly, numerous kids and young people might be influenced negatively by the new media, such as streaming platforms or social media. During the scrolling and watching of these media, youth have been affected by bloggers. Sometimes on streaming platforms happened awful things, such as fights or psychological violence. These actions might have a negative influence on people and push them to do similar things. For instance, on a TV there are many trillers or detective series where show a violence that may provoke or inspire individuals to repeat such actions.
On the other hand, this might depends on exact person. Some people are not subject to such influence and forgot easily about TV series or You-Tube videos with the violence. They do not pay attention to someone’s weird or awful behavior and continue their daily routine. However, some people might be negatively affected by violence in the media. Frequentely, it is people with a unstable psyche or mental disorders. In this case, it is may be dangerous for them to watch the violence in the media.
In conclusion, I agree that violence in the media can promotes violence in society, but I believe that this is not the only one way how violence appears in society and that it depends on each person, to what extent they are susceptible to influence.
