Our personalities are predetermined as a consequence of our genes before we take birth, besides, there is nothing that we can do to alter our characteristics. I do not support this view.
To begin with, our characteristics develop as we proceed in life, it changes throughout the life. Personalities are developed in the early stages of life. Moreover, our habits also profoundly impact on characteristics. Additionally, the enviornment in which we live also effects our personality. Through hard work we can improve our traits and an overall personality development. For example, a person born with physical disabilities can achieve fame and prosperity in his/her life through hard work.
Additionally, genes only decide how our physical features will develop, however, it cannot define our character traits and mental abilities. Both these features continue to develop throughout our life, moreover, our attitude towards life is critical in development of the personality. The education plays an important role in characteristics development along with the peers in our life. For example, an educated person traits are well developed than an uneducated person.
In conclusion, Our traits are not predetermined, they develop as we grow up. The Enviornment in which we grow affects the personality development, furthermore, our habits also profoundly impact our characteristics. Through continuous hard work we can improve our traits.
