Urbanization has become a serious issue for rich cities for various reasons and has become a big problem for the world and the environment. There are a plethora of factors that cause this matter which need some solution to eradicate. Both will be discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs with appropriate examples in brief.
There are plenty of points which help to explain the problems. First and foremost is the shortage of accommodation in cities. A sudden move of individuals towards cities requires houses which is impossible to provide because to construct new places, the government need time and money. This is not the only demand that they need to survive. Traffic congestion is the second problem because overpopulation is directly proportional to modes of transport which disturb the environment. As a result, it has become a cause of health issues to all aged people for instance asthma, breathing issues in old age residents, cancer and hearing problems. Shortage in natural resources is another main reason for overcrowded.
To erase these above-mentioned reasons, the government and society should make some valid decisions before moving. Initiating with public transportation, if people use these modes instead of private cars then pollution level may decrease and can save natural fuels such as petrol and gas. Moreover, people may stay away from health issues and enjoy a healthy life. Furthermore, the government should provide the same opportunities in all areas, by doing this people will rethink before shifting. Because lack of chances of success is the only reason for overpopulation in the big cities.
In conclusion, no doubt, larger cities open more doors to success but people should think about the drawbacks and authorities should provide all facilities in their residential areas. Taking a little step by both can solve this matter.
