Band 6+: overpopulation in most developing countries in Asia and Africa is a problem. If these countries do not try to control the population immediately they will face serious problems. What are your suggestions to control the population in such countries?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Overpopulation is an increasingly pressing issue in various developing nations across Asia and Africa. If these countries do not take immediate action to control their overcrowding of population, they will face a multitude of significant problems. To address this stumbling block, several measures can be enforced to curb population growth and promote the country’s development.

First of all, the most effective method to manage a large population is improving family planning policy. In many developing and undeveloped countries in Asia and Africa a lack of awareness and preparation for contraceptives leads to higher birth rates. Governments should propagate and have proper lesson plans for family planning. Guarantee that each couple has access to contraceptives and fulfills their responsibilities as parents. That is the most effective measure to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and control the population in the same area.

Moreover, sustainable and balanced economic development in every region of countries in Africa and Asia play a key role in controlling population growth. Many developing countries, divided into urban and rural areas, have a clear divide between rich and poor. Therefore, citizens in the countryside will tend to migrate to the city center to settle down and start a business, earning a lot of money to take care of their family. Thereby leading to population overload in the city. The suggested measure is that the government needs to expand the economic market to rural and suburban areas. Economic stability allows individuals to invest in their future, and not compete in the same region too much. Decline gradually overpopulation, avoid shortage of lands to build houses and homelessness, stagnating economic development.

In conclusion, controlling overpopulation in Asia and Africa requires an effective approach that includes improving economic development in all localities and forceful implementation of family planning. These nations can create a more prosperous and balanced future for their citizens.
