These days, it is becoming increasingly common for people to excessively depend on the internet and phones. I am of the opinion that this change might bring about two main problems in the long run.
One primary negative outcome of depending phones is that it reduces focus, when students use it during the lesson. Teachers explain the lesson and teach new knowledge, while students siting on their phones and watch meaningless videos, it decreases effectiveness of knowledge. They easily distracted by their phones, to be specific notifications, messages. As a result, they do not understand the lesson fully, and when progress check comes they have a possibility to write it badly and even fail. Therefore, students should take seriously their studies and leave their phones at their backpack or give it to their teacher.
Another negative impact is that it reduces real-life interaction. In other word, when people too much depend on the internet and their phones they hardly spend a little time with their friends or families. For example, people (who job is to play the online games) do not interact with the world, their world is game and they live with this. Consequently, they have poor connection with people and some skills do not fully developed such as negotiation. If it weren’t for the internet, they would spend time meaningfully by interacting with loved ones or with friends. Therefore, people should have balance between social life and game.
In conclusion, excessively depended on the phones and internet have negative impact on one’s lives. Starting with poor academic performance and less real-life interaction.
