Band 4+: People in the community can buy cheaper products nowadays. Do advantages outweigh disadvantages?

The demand of cheaper brands is significantly rising among the individuals living in the society. Although this trend can be beneficial, but there are many drawbacks that will outweigh the benefits.

To begin with, this trend could be helpful to people of all level. Individual who have lower income can fulfill their basic needs. For example, they can buy smart TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and so on which contributes to adapt their daily needs. Additionally, when the citizens are given cheaper items, the largest benefit is that they can save a overwhelming amount of money on everyday expenditures, which they can then spend on other expenses such as education, travel and housing.

On the other hand, there are several effects of purchasing low cost brands. It goes without saying that buyers should be careful while buying cheap items as many of the low price items are made from weak elements and materials which results in less sustainability of the product. Furthermore, cheap low-quality food items are extremely risky for public health due to their poor manufacture which lacks the nutrients, vitamins and protein.

In conclusion, there are benefits of cheap products which aids to achieve basic daily needs. Hoever, the huge loss of product reliability and proper health care of public compensate the disadvantages.
