Nowadays extreme sport is becoming one of the most popular options of entertainment. Skydiving, rock climbing, bungee jumping, snowboarding, and skiing-all of these are examples of sports that can cause you to have injuries. Despite the possibility of being traumatized, lots of people prefer to spend their free time like this because of different reasons.
I would say that adrenaline is main reason why extreme sports are choice of many people. This hormone that all humans automatically get in stressful situations makes you feel “alive”, gives you energy and happiness. Although it gives you positive emotions, adrenaline can be the cause of lack of attention and patience, which can lead to serious injuries.
There are different opinions on who should pay if you would get injured while doing extreme sports. On the one side of view, places that provide this kind of activities should pay for injured people because it is their responsibility to make sure everyone is safe. On the other side of view, all sportsmen should pay for themselves or have insurance because your health is your own responsibility. I would agree with first point of view, because once one of my relatives was injured on the skiing resort. My sister was doing snowboarding and while she was going down from the mountain, other person accidentally pushed her into the tree. As the result, she broke her arm in two different spots and neither the company which was providing safety there nor that person held responsible and paid for this.
In the end it is worth to mention that although extreme sports are fun and can give you huge amount of positive memories, people always need to be very careful with their own health and consider all risks.
