There is no denying the fact that individuals living in a big city have to go through many obstacles each day. This essay will present some of those problems and answer whether the government should encourage people to move to regional towns.
To begin with, there are a lot of downsides to living in large cities. Firstly, pollution is a major issue for human health. In other words, having to breathe unclean air every day will make you sick. This is not the only effect , but a polluted environment means less trees and plants. In addition, one of the main problems in large cities is traffic. There are a lot of jobs and schools, so everyone needs a way to get there. For example, 50% of a normal family might have two or more cars ; that is for one family only what about thousands of them?
In terms of encouraging individuals to move to regional towns. In my opinion, I think a decision like that is up to a person to decide. It is also possible to say that a lot of people want to live their life in a calm and healthy place. Moreover, regional towns are higher in price when it comes to food and rentals. For instance let us take Riyadh for example, a family of four needs more than 10,000 per month for all their needs.
In conclusion, there are many reasons not to live in a large city. What is mentioned in this essay is just some of the downsides like pollution, traffic, and high prices. It is also true to say that, the government should not encourage people to leave their home towns but give them a chance to do so.
