There is a long debate going on whether evolution of technology has positive or negative impact on communication and transportation. In my opinion, it is more advantageous to the people and can easily outweighs its cons because of the following reasons.
I believe that technological development has now superseded the physical barrier due to which it saves time and also increase the efficiency of the work at same time. A example from my experience, During the time of covid when there was no to any physical contact but due to the enhanced technology, we were allowed to get our lecture from online classes like:- zoom calls, Microsoft teams etc. For a instance, think of a scenario a person from a third world country doing freelancing of a multinational company is now allowed to work from home without even going to any other country.
On the other hand, some argue that people using this freedom to work may not express them properly through this online platforms and sometimes may misinterprets the information given. For example, A person working from home has not all the facilities available like some other person working in the office, gets the proper documentation and solve the queries with their colleagues or there managers and have proper working environment. So, the chances of misinterpreting or missing any information has very low probability then the person working from home.
In conclusion, it think the pros clearly out shadows the cons because the cons are really depends on how the person deals or use the online platforms, if they don’t use correctly then this might be a con. on the other side, pros are general and can be applicable to everyone.
