In contemporary world, the issue of consuming processed foods has become a subject of debate. While some argue that processed foods are right, other may oppose this notion. I firmly agree with this assertion. This essay will elaborate the people consuming too much processed foods, has negative effects on health and I will provide arguments to support my agreement with this perspective.
One compelling reason for my agreement is use of excessive sugar and salt in processed foods. For instance, packaged foods often contain high levels of added sugars and salt. These ingredients contribute to the developement of health issues, like obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, negative impact on mental health can also serve as evidence to strengthen my opinion. To examplify, diets high in processed foods are associated with increased risk of mental health disorders, like depression and anxiety. The lack of nutrients in processed foods have negative impact on brain functions and mood regulations. These reasons highlight the strength of my position that consuming too much processed foods, have negative impacts.
Additionally, overconsumption of processed foods is also adding weight to my argument.
