Many individuals choose a career path since childhood and keep to it. They are sure that their working life will be more pleasant. In this essay I’m going to discuss why I disagree with this review, and what else people can do to have more satisfying working life.
From the childhood many people think that the only way to be satisfied is choosing career path. I totally disagree with this statement, because there are other options to have a good working life. First of all, it is important to mention that I was born in Kazakhstan and it was a part of USSR. In a post soviet countries, there were no internet and individuals had to go on a proper jobs. Furthermore, people were afraid to even start a business because they were harshly judged by the others. In soviet union, if someone wasn’t doing a usuall job, everyone judged and hated on them, because it contradicted governments vision and rules. Consequently, it led to a certain type of mindset, where parents would teach their children to not stand out and be like everyone else. The only way to become succesful back then, was a career path. But nevertheless, time has changed and now there are various opportunities for youngsters to succeed in work.
For instance, children nowadays spend tremendous amount of time in their devices such as computers, or mobile phones. Although it is popular to think that devices only cause detrimental effect on their mind, I’m assure spending time online has more advantages than negatives. For example, I started online business, when I was only twelve years old, by watching my favourite influencer. On his youtube channel, he was showing how to start a bussines from scratch with no money on the bank account. I found it really useful and started constructing my own bussines on instagram. I have had my online shop for 8 years now and I still have income out of it. My story is an evidence of why there is not solely one path to succeed in work.
In conclusion, it is obvious that many people choose the career path, because their parents told and didn’t teach them that there are other ways rather than career path. But I showed that time has changed and now there are other utilities that people can use in order to become succesful in job.
