It is widely recognized that an increasing number of strategies have been applied by enterprises with an aim of boosting their revenue from goods. In my opinion, customer service is the most important of all.
Three main measures contributed to the improvement of product sales. Firstly, most companies choose to target increased sales through advertising campaigns. By sharing videos through social media like Facebook, Tiktok, and Instagram, or running advertisements on TV channels, as well as the celebrities’ endorsement in terms of quality products, companies have success in persuading people to buy more of one’ items. Promotions and discounts programs are another way to increase sales figures. This can be seen in ecommerce platforms such as Shopee or Lazada on certain days, when the prices of various products are reduced, leading to greater consumer demand. Finally, customer service may create a positive impression among customers and minimize negative reviews. While the former scenario would encourage people to buy these items next time, the latter means that they may attract potential customers.
In my view, customer service is the primary indicator of its success regarding boosting the sales of products. No matter how much money companies spend on advertising campaigns or price strategies, their products can still fail to attract people if they receive negative feedback. In other words, individuals may purchase initially but choose not to buy again, which is a clear precursor to decline in revenue in the long run. Furthermore, excellent service support can make businesses spend less money investing in marketing and price campaigns. For instance, KFC, a brand known for its customer satisfaction, always appeals to a large number of people to enjoy, even if it advertises less or rarely gives promotional offers. This example sheds light on why companies should prioritize consumer service over other methods.
In conclusion, businesses nowadays utilize the sales figures in a number of ways, but it is my conviction that its customer service is the best method.
