With the growth in technology, many oldsters give gadgets to their generations who are still in the elementary school. I would argue that it brings about the adverse effect.
Supporters of this statement argue that by using mobile phone children can broaden their knowledge and unleash their learning through figuring out good information from the internet on their devices. Firstly, the pupils who live in the city will be able to learn technology in the early age and they are able to find enormous lessons and methods of learning to support their development rather than relying on books that they receive from their teacher. Secondly, the advocates of this idea state that if the young one utilizes the phone in their daily activities, they will be able to acquaint themselves with a lot of people who are from various countries.
However, the damage that this does to the children outweighs the positive factors. One of the biggest problems is that they are unable to socialize with people or even their peers around them due to always prioritizing using mobile phone rather than enjoying their childhood. Moreover, they will lack of awareness of everything that occurs in their environment which means that there is an addicted to wasting their time in front of their phones. In addition, one of psychological experiment proved the detrimental impact of using phone for a long time, it can lead to decrease the focus of young generations.
To sum up, it is clear to me that although there are advantages to making use of mobile phone, the impacts on the mental of children are to serious. Rigorous rules should be taken by the parents to reduce the usage of their children’s devices in order to protect the young generations from further damage.
