For decreasing diseases population needs new types of treatment. Three main subjects can provide them: private companies, individuals and governments. I suppose that private companies and governments are core factors in funding.
Firstly, private companies have enough power for funding in this field. They can allocate enough money for researches and can get benefit from funding. For instance, if new medicine will invent and it will has better effect on diseases, meantime new type of treatment will be popular among nations and sales will boom. In terms of money company will gain more money and people also will improve their health and can struggle with diseases. Then the situation can be win-win for both sides. Private companies have essential trade connections with world market and they can move quickly to bring new medicines to market. Also there is competition among companies this feeling promote them for being more productive and innovative. Thus more private companies funding for researches and each of them want be the inventive of new medicines.
Secondly, governments are more reliable subject for funding, they can oversee the continuity of research and provide more stable, long-term research. Governments can focus on public health issue compared to private companies. They have special regulation and oversight. Governments consider ethical standards and public interest. Publicly funded research also tends to result in medicines which are more accessible, affordable and providing high health quality. Governments bear special responsibility to their folk ,therefore, they should consider people from all walks of life. In terms of prices governments are more attentive and each people who need medicine can get it.
In conclusion, private companies, governments and individuals; each of them have undeniable role in health sector. However, due to aforementioned reasons i ponder that private companies and governments have more effect on researches which are for developing health field and new types of treatments.
