Students take a lot of time and hardwork for earning money to pay for the tuition fee. Increasing universities fee scarce job opportunities prospects for the students who have just passed out from the university have motivate some of the people to believe colleges should not teach unnecessary subject, including arts, philosopy, history, and should offer the degree of those subjects or courses that increase the chances of employment. I disagree with this statement due to many reasons. Many people have interest in arts and would not get chance to study and other people can also maintain their livelihood.
Firstly, many people had already made their career by studying arts. Arts includes many other subjects, like philosophy and history, in which many individuals throughout the world have interest. They want to learn more about those thing. However, arts is considered as a low range subject by many civilians as the chances of getting job is lower than others. But involving in this sector helps many citizens to get a chance of studying and to be happy. In a survery done in 2000, it was found that people who pursue their dream rather than listening to other people are generally more happy than those who do not pursue their dream.
Secondly, other students which are involved in other faculties, such as science, commerce, law are considered as high paying subjects but many artists had earned a lot of income by studying arts. It is a false belief that studying arts is a waste of a time as it is the main source of money in many of the places. Also, studying this course had helped out a lot of civilians to maintain their livelihood and deals with the problems related to cash. In recent survey done in Kathmandu, it was found out that citizens that are embrace in arts are producing more cash than those who are not.
In conclusion, universities should teach all the subjects, so that people will get the chance of studying their dream subject. Atleast they will be happy to study, and can also maintain their proper life by earning some money.
