Many think that schools ought to teach learners more academic subjects—which will be beneficial for their future careers—with full concentration than other subjects such as music and sports. While it is true that academic subjects are extremely crucial, but I am firmly opposed to this notion because music and sports play a significant rule in people’s life.
The aforementioned opinion could be attributed to plenty of reasons. First and foremost, other subjects —music and sports—not only promote academic result but also enhance cognitive abilities, concentration, and so on which are too vital for a pupil. Undoubtedly, if any sort of students learn about music and sports, they will be extraordinary persons. On the contray, only academic subjects can boost academic performance, but those subjects cannot increase any other things. Therefore, teachers should teach academic subjects with other subjects. As a consequence, when learners will gruow up, they can earn a vast amount of money. To illustrate, in the USA, which is well known for its educational system, (according to the BBC), approximately 80% of school teach their students academic subjects as well as other subjects so that pupils can know everything easily. due to the fact that their students are more excellent than others countries’ students.
Although learning academic subjects students can expect quality job related to their same field, they cannot achieve any skills namely communication skills. In other words, participating in sports and music enhances physical fitness, nurtures life skills such as teamwork, fosters a sense of belongings, all of which contribute to their overall lifestyles. Hence, if students are taught regarding the other subjects, they can get a mountain of merits.
In conclusion, despite few conveniences to teach only academic subjects, other subjects are most effective because those have lots of pros like music and sports can reduce students stress and anxiety. This is why I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement.
