Science and technology are often regarded as a significant niches of our society, tough many argue that they are more valuable than music. This topic resist simple classification as which part is efficient, since its effects are invariably shaped by a complex interplay of competing, equally legitimate factors. Nevertheless, I reckon, unfortunately, musicians and artist have more influence that’s why they are more valuable.
First of all, unfortunately, today’s is a common thing that in the government instead of listening to scientists usually they invite artists and musicians in order to hear their opinion for issues that they do not even understand. For instance, few years ago there was a speech by incredible famous Russian artist, named A4, in the public government meeting. The main point of the issue was «What should the government to improve the communication with teenagers?» No doubt it is a significant issue that should be discussed by the government but also it is important to have a public meetings with people of scientist.
Secondly, it is because of salaries that musicians are more valuable. As an example, If somebody is an acerage artist or musicians, he will get a well-paid salary that will be enough for an awesome living. However, If you a scientist or spend your live on making technology, you can not make a fortune by being on average level. Moreover, by having a sight on the Forbes it is easy to notice that there dozens of musicians, and artists and just a few scientists or people involved in technology.
All in all, I strongly disagree with the idea of the topic. From my perspective, in our world, sadly, artists and musicians are more important.
