In this trend, scientists predict that cars will be driven by computers in the near future and I consider it a positive development overall.
In my view, this could be a positive development because it can reduce the possibility of crimes such as kidnapping, rape, or even a murder. This is particularly evident if the driver has ill intentions and we do not know what the driver is planning to do. Consequently, the worst situation is, we cannot do anything inside the car when the driver does their intentions. This is because we cannot control the car as the driver is, the only thing we can do is only try to defend ourselves. However, the most likely victims are always kids and women, because they do not have power as a man.
Secondly, if computers are steering the cars, chances to break the traffic rules can be decreased. This is because they are set by the program that will not violate the rules, and computers only can work according to the program. For example, a few days ago, a senior high school teenager drove a car and got a violation because his speed was above the limit. Therefore computers can reduce those kinds of violations. In addition traffic can be more order than before, so the number of cars or traffic accidents will decrease.
In conclusion, I believe that computers replacing people as a driver must be a positive development, because the number of criminal tragedies and traffic violations can be reduce, and our safety can be more secure.
