Some people believe teenagers commit more violent crimes than adults. Some people under 18 perform serious offenses because they follow the path created by adults. More elders commit violations; however they have good connections and good knowledge about law and how they can circumvent it, and this is why I support this view.
Ferocious crimes among teens are becoming because they emulate adults, and want to be like them. Teenagers have an unformulated personality and they are looking for an idol to whom they aspire. In infancy, many American teens want to be cool and commit like gangsters. I totally disagree that teens emulate criminals because they do not realize, then they ruin their own lives.
Grown-ups commit more crimes, but they have many friends who can help them hide misdeeds and they know many ways how they can insidiously break laws. Adults have much experience in life and they think through all the steps. They know every little detail of the law and how it works. Grown-ups begin making influential friends at a young age. For example, Pablo Escobar controlled the criminal world a long time and he was not caught by government because he had many friends in government and skillfully exploited weaknesses in the law. I completely agree that in the criminal world most people are adults, however they are not caught by the government because they can evade capture.
In conclusion, serious violent crimes among teens are fewer than adults, but people under 18 caught more than older people. Teenagers do not have anything that helps them hide, accordingly they are caught quickly and easily. Adults have many relationships and experience which help them.
