In today’s modernized world, the extinction of several languages is a pressure, While some argue that government intervention and public funding are essential for preserving unsafe languages, others believe it’s an ineffective spending money of resources.

On one hand, advice for language saving argue that each language expressing unique cultural heritage and knowledge systems. Therefore, saving endangered languages is not just about language variety but also about keeping human history and identity. Moreover, some abroad languages hold significant ecological and cultural knowledge, which can benefit society at large. Thus, invention public money in language preservation projects can seen as a means of protecting cultural fortune and developing .

On the other hand, opponents argue that in a world with thousands of languages, prioritizing the preservation of endangered languages is unworkable and financially unsustainable. They announce that limited public savings should be allocated to areas with more pressing societal needs, such as education, healthcare, and basic living . Additionally, they argue that efforts to revive dying languages might not be successful in the long term if there is insufficient demand or too little practical for these languages in modern society.

In my opinion, while it’s important to acknowledge the cultural significance of endangered languages, governments should prioritize funding based on pragmatic considerations. This could involve supporting initiatives that facilitate the documentation of endangered languages, preserving key linguistic and cultural artifacts, and providing resources for communities to maintain their linguistic heritage. However, the extent of public investment should be balanced with other pressing societal needs to ensure effective resource allocation.

In conclusion, while the preservation of endangered languages is valuable for maintaining cultural diversity and heritage, governments must carefully weigh the costs and benefits of allocating public funds to this endeavor. Striking a balance between cultural preservation and pragmatic resource allocation is essential for addressing the complex issue of endangered languages in today’s world
