Some people believe school children should be given multiple short vacations, while others think they should get one long vacation. While both options have advantages and disadvantages, In my opinion, schools should stick to giving multiple vacations to their students.
Firstly, it is scientifically proven that after having a rest, the brain functions much better. Especially since children of small age usually get tired early, it is vital to give them some breaks to make sure they get enough rest from school.
Opponents of having many short-term holidays argue that children might forget what they have learned at school if they have many mid-term breaks. However, if the kids stay concentrated during the lessons, they will not be likely to forget anything. Moreover, having longer breaks increases the likelihood of children forgetting parts of their school curriculum since they won’t be attending school for a long time.
To conclude, while some people believe that having many small breaks can make children forget their lessons faster, I think that having longer breaks might have worse effects. To keep children concentrated, it is essential to give them small vacations.
