Band 6+: "Since most information about culture and history can be found online, museums and art galleries are no longer needed. To what extent do you agree or disagree?"

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, the internet is one of the popular platforms to gather information about culture and history. In my opinion, I agree with the statement that most of the information about culture and history can be found online, and museums and art galleries are no longer needed. In the upcoming main body paragraph, I will discuss my strong ideas with examples.

In the first body paragraph, I would like to discuss why museums and art galleries are no longer needed. Because these both ways are the oldest and less convenient compared to the internet. The internet is the fastest way to get information about anything, and you will also find a numerous variety of information with a full explanation about that. For example, if we want to gather information about Asian culture, we just have to go to Google and search for ‘Asian culture’ in a few seconds, and Google will provide similar information about it with a proper explanation and attached pictures that are relatable to it.

In the second body paragraph, online methods to gather more information about culture and history are very effective compared to museums and art galleries. Moreover, art galleries and museums provide only limited information about the culture or history compared to online methods of gathering information. For example, if you go to a museum, you see an Indian cultural dress that will only tell you the story of that particular dress and the purpose of wearing that dress. But if you use an online method to search through e-books or other social platforms, these will give you information about the story of the dress, the purpose of wearing that dress, and which part of India that dress is worn the most, on which occasions people wear that dress, and many more comparisons to other cultural dresses.

In conclusion, I would like to say that online methods of obtaining more information about history and culture are more effective and easily accessible from anywhere in the world. So, these are my strong ideas, and I completely agree with them.
