Technology has played a key role in communicating individuals ways in recent years. That is to say, the majority of people has got accustomed to using social media in daily contacts. It is clear that there are several various reasons for this issue, and in this essay I will represent some significant reasons. Also, I will explain if this development is positive or negative.
One of the most momentous reasons for changing communication ways is technology advance. In other words, technology has progressed a lot, as human has explored and invented new achievements over the last few decades. In this case, not only can people use this technology, but also they become more convenient to connect with others in daily life. Another notable reason is being busy. Otherwise stated, most people are extremely busy due to their jobs or studies. Hence, they intent on creating social media which is so practical and useful for communicating with family and friends.
In my perspective, changing connection ways for people is a negative development. In spite of being comfortable, mobile users have got used to connecting with their family and friends just by calls, instead of visiting them in person. In other words, I personally think, there is no substitute for communicating with loved ones except of having face to face contacts. Moreover, social media has recently become an inseparable part in people’s life which can be harmful for mental and physical health. That is to say, the high number of individuals have addicted using mobile applications in their life. Take instagram as an example. This application can solely influence on users’ mind because of different contents which cannot be appropriate for all of us.
To conclude, there is no doubt that technology has changed connection ways for people in recent years. There are a lot of reasons for this development such as technology progress and the huge amount of work for individuals. As a consequence, in my view, social media is a negative development because of isolating people and creating some new addicting applications.
