Band 4: Some architects prioritize the preservation of historical buildings, while others focus on creating new designs. which perspective do you most agree with, and why? support your answer with reasons and examples? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

I strongly support this notion that we have to focus on maintaining the old heritages and historical buildings for our future generations by giving two reasons for this notion.

First and foremost, Historical buildings are the face of our ancestors, which is the main source that can explain our previous way of developments or erection of building and monuments. For an instance, In the capital city of Nepal, we can see many types of ancient buildings and handmade crafts and there is also a famous building called “Dharhara” which is really famous in our country. Every people want to visit there with their family members and children on vacation and explaining them about how it built in ancient time by using Clay and bricks only but due to the Earthquake the Dharhara Building is collapsed and the same design building has been constructed at the same place but in a modern way.

Secondly, many ancients’ buildings are there in our country which attracts tourist and its so useful for the children education and learning. These buildings attract tourism from different part of our country and also from the other nation. For example, 52 door’s Hanuman Durbar, Rani Mahal at Palpa, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Many people were come to visit These historical building which also can increase economy of that states.

In conclusion, preservation of historical buildings and monuments are most important aspects for our country. So, our main concern is to preserve these buildings rather than building new one.
