Taking necessary measures to improve the health condition of general people is an important task for the government. Providing citizens with more sports facilities can be a preventative step to any adverse health issues and will improve public health. However, I think, authorities also have to invest more in medical technology and tighten food safety regulations.
Sports such as swimming, soccer, running keep a human being fit. Not only sports improve our immune system but also keeps us away from cardiovascular maladies. Increasing parks for running and jogging, football fields, swimming complexes and allowing citizens to use them free of cost will start the trend of healthy lifestyle amongst common people. Thus, they will be more conscious of their health. But, if they don’t maintain proper diet and eat unhealthy food then all the exercise will go in vain.
Without getting proper treatment and health facilities the number of casualties will rise. As a result, drastic downfall in public health will be seen. By using modern technologies doctors can cure deadly disease with ease, faultlessly and even in shorter time. Rather then spending every penny in increasing sports complexes, government should also build more hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers to tackle health issues of people. Moreover, improving food safety can also be a bold step alongside building up more sports amenities. For example, government can ban usage of harmful chemicals as they cause notable damage to health. Another step can be, limiting the consumption of fast food as they contain preservatives.
In conclusion, granting new sports facilities will definitely have positive effects in public health but authorities must invest in other sectors to achieve a substantial improvement
