It is a common belief that the emergence of technology has influenced negatively our lives; based on that, it needs to be removed. From my point of view, I totally disagree with this perspective, because of the significant merits of technology.
First of all, it is undeniable that technology has the ability to handle complicated tasks in many fields. In other words, we can see that technological tools, such as AI, can gain and comprehend all the knowledge people provide to them. Following that, they possess a broad understanding about many aspects in our lives; therefore, they can find and implement optimal solutions for some issues we are struggling with. Thanks to their appearances, our works and studies have been facilitated. Many big corporates have applied technological gadgets in their workplace, in order to ease their work and reduce a certain amount of time. This is an important innovation that we cannot ignored, especially in this fast-paced era.
Secondly, with the development of technology, social connections have been impacted as a result. In particular, many social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram have many utilities for their users, which enable them to access to an exclusive space for social contact with other people around the world. Basically, within a few clicks, we can create an international network and online communicate with other users. This is undoubtedly a more accessible measure for us because we can overcome the geographical barriers, as well as approach a wide range of perspectives on the Internet. Hence, technology also influences positively in the way we contact with each other.
To sum up, although technological appliance is a double-edged sword simultaneously, it is clear that their appearances have benefited significantly our lives, especially our complex tasks and social interactions.
