Band 5+: Some believe technology has made our lives too complex and the solution is to lead a simpler life without technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Technology has taken a significant part in our lives, where daily activities without them are unimaginable, and almost every action is digitized. While oversupply of online solutions for life problems might lead to complex and special knowledge to be acquired by every user, they are the main reason for society’s simpler life, so I do not appreciate that point.

In the modern world, all documentation and other law related charges are transferred online, which makes our life easier and less time consuming. The main reason is speed of data communication; before you had to attend to the bank office, and not only spend your time on the road, but also for a conversation with the assistant and queue. Now every person has an opportunity to fill the data within a range of 15 minutes on their phones after they will be accurately validated by the same bank workers. Therefore other similar processes make our day and time schedule more dynamic with less time consuming, and require less force spent on the same result as if we were back in life without those technologies. Moreover, all the requirements have become less complex because of template usage by corporations, and people should not think about every punctuation and grammatical mistakes, so by following simple instructions of online solutions, society experiences less struggle.

Additionally, digital citizenship and quick developing globalization with technology, made our communication more efficient and easier than it ever was because data transmission through the internet is much faster than any other types of communication on the same distance. For example, letter-type communication requires at least 1 hour on the shortest route however social media are delivering messages within a period of milliseconds. Consequently, user has not to worry about the result of sending the text, whilst on the former a person has to make sure that file will not be lost or damaged during delivery, so typing in the text area on your device on particular social network is much more convenient and does not have need of verification of address and other pre-entered information.

To conclude, I totally disagree with the given statement, due to the fact that technology actually brings
