In the modern world, many people tend to think that globalization sustains poverty in many countries of the world, due to new job opportunities along with economic growth as well. However, most individuals believe that there are also several drawbacks of this statement, including economic dependence and exploitation, which in my opinion, boosts an economic gap even wider.
On the one hand, globalization fosters cultural exchange, allowing people to appreciate different cultures, traditions, and local food, which also creates exposure that influences new innovations together with technologies, developing job opportunities and expanding horizons. For example, technological advances generated virtual workplaces such as web designer, influencer, as well as content maker. Furthermore, globalization enhances trade opportunities and attracts foreign investments, as a result, helping to lift out local community from poverty.
On the other hand, as far as I am concerned, even though globalization have many benefits, it may bring serious damage to communities and economics. Namely, the implication of economic dependence and human labour. Developing countries may become over dependent on global markets, resulting in being vulnerable to crisis and fluctuation. In addition, governments may use human labour in case of income providing poor working conditions while disregarding their physical capability reasoning in rights violation. As an example, Kazakhstan is developing country, nonetheless, it still depends on nearly situated countries: China, Uzbekistan, Japan and etc.
To conclude, globalization may be beneficial due to economic enhancements, whereas, in my opinion, it can exacerbate current situation and bring many difficulties as well.
