It is argued that access to water is a fundamental right and every house should get cost free water provision. I completely agree with this statement because of two simple reasons. Firstly, water is a necessary element for the existence of human life. Secondly, water is a natural resourse which can not be captured by any person or government.
I believe that every person and house has a basic right to the access of water because it is the only element without which human existence is not possible. People around the globe use water in carrying out the most fundamental activities needed for human survival. For example, water is the basic source through which we get rid of our thirst. If a tax or charge is imposed on water, people would have to earn hard in order to get rid of this basic need which is against the human dignity. Additionally, if governments start taking money on water, people will refrain from bathing and cleaning themselves which would result into the spread of various diseases.
Moreover, water like other natural resources like oxygen is a fundamental right of people that cannot be simply captured by any person or government. As a strong believer of fundamental rights, I would argue that every human being is born with some unalienable rights that can not be taken away from him. Access to water is among those rights as recognized by institution like the United Nations. Therefore, I think that people should have free availability of water in every country around the globe.
To conclude, I completely agree with the statement that celan water is the fundamental right of every human and it should be accessible to every household free of any cost. This is due to two reasons; water is a basic necessity of humans without which life can not thrive and access to water is birth right of every human being because it is a natural resource.
