There is a great divide in what people think about climate change. Some people think that humanity should fight with this while others believe that it is better to adjust. From a personal view, I fully agree that it is better for people to learn how to adapt to climate change and live with it.
On the one hand, it is important to regulate climate change because it has a significant influence on human life and may even be dangerous. For example, because of cutting off forests and expanding cities, animals will migrate, and it may cause ecological problems in some regions. Also, the burning of fossil fuels has a serious impact on global warming and ozone layer depletion. Thus, the actions of humans take a great toll on the planet. But nowadays, ecological awareness among people is becoming more and more common as people try to save nature.
On the other hand, climate change is an inevitable phenomenon, and it is a part of the life cycle of Earth. Climate has changed throughout history, and ancient people had to adapt by migrating, looking for warmer places, and building warmer shelters. Probably now it will be more pragmatic to invest in things that can provide safety in extreme weather. In fact, modern technology allows people to build houses in both cold and hot places on the planet. For example, Yakutsk is located in the very cold place of Earth, but people are adapted to live in this place and even built the city.
In conclusion, I believe that adaptation to climate change is the most effective way to continue to live with it. Nowadays, people have the knowledge and technology to make their lives better in conditions of global warming or global freezing.
