In today’s rapidly globalizing world, some people are not willing to preserve the traditional culture of their country or region. I believe it is very important to preserve our traditions because they show our identity.
Nowadays, people do not pay attention to their culture. Main reason is the globalization. They think a way of globalization is considered to developing countries cultures. If they hold global culture they will adapt easily with the world. For example, iranian people celebrate Christmas but they have a traditional celebration that day and name is Mehregan, but they do not celebrate it. Another reason that causes lack of attention to traditional culuture is the internet. The internet and especialy social media has changed people’s life. For instance, younger generation usually listen to pop music in other hand of tradional music.
However, protecting traditions is very important for the future. Traditional cultures give people identity. They also keep the memories of our ancector alive. A good example is celeberating festival help us connect with our root. These activities also attract tourists, which helps economy. For example, many tourists from vary part of the world visit Chinese new year celebration. Chinese people perform dance of dragon and cook tradition foods that they are atractive for tourists. Moreover, teaching traditions to children can help to keep them alive for next generation.
In conclusion, globalization has changed our attitude on tradtion cultures. We must protect our traditions and we can use them in a positive way. They help us stay connected to our past and ensure that future generations can learn and be proud of their culture.
