These days the question of the law that forbids to use animals in different amusements proposes is a subject of heated debate. Apparently, the law should be implemented in all countries to stop tormenting vulnerable animals in zoos and circuses.
To begin with, in terms of zoos there are some reasons why they should be closed all around the world. The first one is moral aspect. Wild animals are taken from wildlife to make money and amuse people. Additionally, there aren’t often appropriate conditions. For example, it is a regular occasion when carnivorous animals like lions and tigers are kept in tiny cages like it is in the St. Petersburg zoo. Moreover, it isn’t uncommon to read reports of poor animals that suffer from the lack of food.
It is precisely for almost the same reasons circuses should be forbidden. The additional reason if that due to the fact that vulnerable animals aren’t able to stand up for themselves they are often abused. For example, animal trainers often force animals to do tricks and animals that don’t execute commands are punished physically. Next cause is that performing on a stage causes a huge stress in animals. For example, loud sounds and camera flashes may provoke panic. There were some occasions when scared animals attacked the audience in a circus.
In conclusion, a lot of wild animals are used by people who just want to earn money on them. Suffering from living in tiny cages in zoos and doing tricks in circus, animals aren’t able to change their life. Because of these reasons the law of using animals in entertainment way should be provided.
