It is true that some residents believe that it is a better choice to spend money on cultivating children to do sports since they are young rather than spending funds on the preparation of international competitions. While I understand that spending too much funds on children tend to cause finance burden on countries, I believe that there are more benefits than drawbacks.
Spending money on motivating children to take up sports when they are very young has lots of benefits. Firstly, due to the fact that people who are young are more likely to better learn new skills, it is very significant to cultivate children from a young age, which is comparatively easier than cultivating when they are older in particular fields. Secondly, stimulating kids to take up sports is a good means to find out children who have the talent in sports and emphasize those children’s cultivation, which is able to foster the future development of international competitions.
On the contrast, there are some benefits of spending money preparing national competitions. Initially, spending funds on sports events from different countries is a good choice to boom the development of international sports races, which can raise the international status of the country and expand their international influence, thus facilitating the opportunities of publicity. Meanwhile, owing to engagements of various countries, it is also a good way to boost cultural interaction, fostering cultural globalization.
In conclusion, I would argue that the benefits of stimulating young children to do sports outweigh the drawbacks, because it is a great means to detect children who are good at sports in some specific areas and cultivate them to be a contributor of their nation’s sports event.
