We live in a world that has many dangerous ecological problems, for example: global warming, acid rain, flooding, greenhouse gases, and drought. All of these issues are harmful to our environment, but environmentalists think that the biggest problem is flooding.
Floods have a negative impact on the environment and are formed in a complex way. First, different human activities, such as factory work, increase the amount of greenhouse gases. They release chemical elements that raise the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Because of this, the temperature rises, and glaciers begin to melt. Global warming starts, the melting ice raises the water level, and as a result, floods destroy cities.
But despite everything, we can reduce the number of floods. Firstly, we should reduce the emission of industrial pollutants into the air. For example, factories can use special filters. This helps slow the melting of glaciers by lowering carbon dioxide levels. Secondly, we should recycle waste such as glass and plastic. Recycling helps prevent floods because it keeps drains and rivers clean, allowing water to flow freely without rubbish there. It also helps us create new things from old materials.
To draw the conclusion, nature has many problems, like global warming, melting glaciers, acid rain, exhaust fumes, contaminated water, and floods. Floods can happen when rivers are blocked by waste and when the temperature rises. In my opinion, we can help by reducing anthropogenic emissions, recycling waste, and taking care of the environment. By taking care of nature, we can protect it for the future.
