It is suggest by many people that children should he start learning a foreign language at primary school instead of secondary school and it is better for them. I think if learners are taught properly, gains are likely to be more potential losses.

On the one hand, early language learning has advantages. First learning is relatively quicker. Children can fast learners, can memorize vocabularies, and remember grammatical rules easily. Also, air brains are still programme to acquire their mother tongue with also helps learning another language faster. Second, unlike high school students, they are lays performance conscious and lays war it about making mistakes, which again eases their efforts. Third,as their syllabus is comparatively short, they are teachers can teach them in a play centric approach, which can be considerate fun and enjoyable both from the teachers and learners perspective. All these things make early exposure to a foreign language beneficial in numerous ways.

On the other hand, they are could be some problems of this approach, to begin with, learning can be incomplete or incorrect . Usually, language teacher in primary school are generalists, not specialists . For example, in my country, Bangladesh, it is not often seen that a history or math teacher is teaching English, which is our second language. As a result, learners might not learn to correct pronunciations of many words,or detailed grammatical structures. More sadly , when they discover later that their first learning was incorrect, they might feel demotivated . Now they have to do double works: correct previous mistakes and learn again. However, problems like these can be addressed with proper policy changes.

In conclusion, I am supporter of early language learning because it makes the job of both learners and teachers easier. Problems might a occur but these are solvable .
