Experts believe any additional rise in in economy does not make its people any more satisfied when a country is already wealthy. I agree with this opinion because there are plenty of reasons for this.
There are several reasons why people do not feel any satisfaction if a country is already rich. One of the main points is that in countries like that, basic needs are already satisfied such as people already have access to good housing, healthcare, and education. Therefore, further economic growth has little impact on people’s overall happiness. Another main idea is happiness depends more on relationships than money. Once people became financially secure, factors such as family, relatives and friends became more important. As a result, additional wealth does not necessarily make citizens more satisfied. For example, Denmark and Norway have already provided excellent services like healthcare and social welfare and yet people’s satisfaction depends largely on social relationships and work-life balance rather than higher incomes.
Mental health problems remain unchanged by wealth. Rich countries often still have high rates of stress, anxiety, and depression. This shows that emotional well-being is influenced more by lifestyle, pressure, and social relationships than by national economic growth. For instance, although the United States is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, many citizens still struggle with stress and mental health issues.
In conclusion, if a country already provides high- quality public services such as good healthcare and welfare, and also mental health problems remain unchanged even it’s economy continues to grow so that I strongly believe that idea.
