While I believe, that it’s important for countries to have some rate of people having knowledges in these fields, there are still benefits from people with other types of education.
Some countries, like Germany, have a world-wide reputation in their medicine achievements, resulting in many people coming there for complicated surgeries and special treatment. This reputation showcase this countries as stable and reliable for forming alliances, as medicine is expensive and development in this field acquire much money to the government. Moreover, healthcare which is related to science field, will always be in demand, because all people occasionally encounter some health problem, so it’s sustainable area for investing. Overall, sciences related achievement, usually associated with stability improving country’s international relationship, and increase budget of countries to contribute this money to development.
While sciences and technologies are important, countries can also benefit from encouraging education in other spheres for own sake. It is well known, that budget of the country is mostly based on taxes of its citizens. The biggest taxes rates are generally inquired from business owner’s for the purpose of indirect benefits from their achievements. To bs able to contribute money into either own development or sci-tech field, sufficient budget is required, and it can be achieved by getting taxes from people in other spheres.
